RicanBeans is working a numerous little projects to solve little pet peives that we have. We create some stuff on purpose too, mostly out of pure boredom though.

Current Projects

 RicanBeans.com - We have to finish this project soon. I keep changing color schemes. We keep playing around, our mind gone and its not coming back. To view script in action, demo1.

 BeanNetworks.net - Working on a new template for them. They were still working off their old WebPage66 template. It will integate their new services and fourms when its completed. To view script in action, demo1.

 BeansGoneWild - We are designing a new script design. It should be released after the Bean Networks template is completed. To view script in action, demo1.

 Photo Gallery - Working on the gallery script for the BGW section. Almost completed, but we are working out a few bugs when we aplly our template and trying to set popups without templates. To view script in action, demo1.

 IM Me from MySpace v1.0 beta - This script is designed to be placed on your MySpace account. You can choose all your own colors for the script. Simply choose your colors and insert your instant messenger names, and your friends can IM you! This was created mostly cause you cannot use "aim:" links on your homepage.  School Closing Status Bar - This script is esstentially finished. We are adding a control panel for web access when away from the server. This will include an option to change status automattically when WATE changes the status on their page. If the script is set to "off", the end of the navagation bar in appear normal. If its "on", a message will appear from WATE or your own custom message. To view script in action, demo1 and look in the top right corner.

 SeiverCountyBears.com v4.01 - I am rebuilding the old template to work with the new scripts and content. The webmaster was intrested in the template that was used before I was webmaster there. To view script in action, demo1.

 EAWR v2.0 - Im working on this script out of pure boredom. This is a copy of SCHSv4.01 but new the school colors. When you view the demo, ignore the bear in the corner. We havent had the chance to get ahold of a oilers logo to work off of yet. I am planning to animate it so the site has action. To view script in action, demo1.

 Google Search Script - With a script from WWWSolutions we are able to host our own search engine, using Google Services. Our own site search without anything else mixed in. To view script in action, demo1.

Completed Projects

 School Closings Page - This script was to display the School Closings feed from WATE. We created this script to pull the source code directly and display the tables as the webmaster chose. This included a fail-safe for when the WATE server were down, it would use the same tables, and not create PHP errors. This script will work with the School Closings Status Bar when its completed.  Web Search Plugin for Mozilla - Created to autoinstall on the school network, this plugin set netscape to search the school website by default, written as an addon for the Mozilla program. We integrated in to the Google Search Script on our site as well. When the plugin is activated it will search this site from the search bar, and when searching from the side bar.  SevierCountyBears.com v6.01 - While not being the original design creator, I took the design and worked out the kinks in the code. From there I added more sections of the site, improving the overall organization of the site. The School Closings Status Bar and the School Closings Page were initally designed for this template. I was webmaster from August 2004 to June 2005. Since then, the new webmaster has made a few entry and font changes. To view this script in action, demo1.

Pending Projects

 BeanNetworks Fourms - This will help with support between the customer and the company. It will enable other customer to talk also about our services, billing errors, or script and site errors.

 DarkBean - codenamed "DarkBean", this is more of a temporary see how much we can push the limits of the security realm. When completed the scripts will go to our client for publishing. This site will be locked down tight, no search engine will index and file systems will be integrated so file names and locations are hidden among the server. This will create the illusion that the files do not exist on the website, but are hotlinked from another site. This will include its own search enine and rating system for the the differnt security articles. It wont be a professsional site, but will revolve around newbies just getting in the business.

 File Organization for RicanBeans.com - As RicanBeans becomes more random, with more random ideas to include on this god forskaken webiste, the file system is getting bulky. A good clean and new oranization system is needed.
